Consumer dispute resolution

Our position on dispute resolution — and a note on the EU ODR platform, which no longer exists.

The EU ODR platform has closed. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and Regulation (EU) 524/2013 was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. Businesses must no longer link to it — any old ODR link is now broken and an incorrect legal reference.

Our clients

CoSustain provides professional advisory services to businesses, funds, family offices, and institutional clients. Our engagements are business-to-business. We do not, in the normal course, sell services online to consumers within the meaning of the Croatian Consumer Protection Act.

If you are a business client

Any dispute arising from an engagement is governed by the dispute-resolution clause of the relevant engagement letter. If a concern arises, please raise it first with your CoSustain contact, or with the Director — it is almost always faster than a formal process.

If you are a consumer

In the limited case where CoSustain provides a service to a consumer, the EU-wide ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available. Alternative dispute resolution for consumer matters in Croatia is provided by the bodies notified under the Croatian Act on Alternative Resolution of Consumer Disputes — in the first instance, the Mediation Center at the Croatian Chamber of Economy (hgk.hr). Participation in ADR is voluntary unless a specific law provides otherwise. Nothing here limits any right to bring a matter before the competent courts.
